Without a boat there is nowhere to fish and people don't know how to clean up after themselves
Construction makes getting from end to end a pain in the butt. Decent fishing though
It stinks to high heaven and you lose a ton of lures but there are a lot of fish to catch as well!
Went here while escaping hurricane harvey. My guests from Houston were excited about the big fish you can catch here pretty consistently. For an outting for fishing and fishng only with older children. My kids were 3 and 6 and it really is not the place for children. My 3 year was climbing all over the rocks and the current was super strong. I was unable to fish because I had to babysit. My 6 year old loves to fish, but the wall was too high and the rocks to trecherous for his age.
Wish more game warden would ask for fishing licences. Many folks just don't follow rules. One day like to meet this folks!!!
