This is by far the worst doctors office that I have ever been to. I went by for a yearly checkup and it went fine. They told me to come back in to pick up my results and I thought nothing of it. My insurance covers checkups, but Dr. Rush's office tricks you and makes you come in a second time which doesn't fall under the checkup. They charged me $150 to come in, pick up my results and talk to somebody for 2 minutes. They said this is the follow up appointment and must be charged as a doctor's visit. I called twice to talk to somebody about it and they told me Dr. Rush would retunr my call. I waited 2 months, called back, and still haven't received a call. This place is TERRIBLE! Don't ever go here unless it is the LAST option. Many other people I know have had this same experience. Even if you tell them you don't want to come back in, they say you can't get your results. They basically hold your results hostage unless you pay the extra $150. Do not trust this office!
I have never met Dr. Rush. I have issues that require life long medication, and they wont prescribe more than 30 days at a time so that they can get more of my money. Also, they require some sort of special testing every time you go in, or they reschedule it for the next visit, regardless of whether or not the RN has talked to you about it or not... Bad service, Bad attitudes, Bad communication... & They don't care-----
HORRIBLE The staff are rude, they will only write a script for a month at a time, so that you need to go back and pay another fee to get another script. Huge rip off.
HORRIBLE!! I've been going there for approx 3 yrs. It's true you have to pay for results on lab tests etc. Additionally prescriptions are written for ONE month at a time SO that you have to go back in Mind you we are talking about regular medications like for cholesterol, blood pressure etc we are not talking about pain medications or controlled narcotics as they can't write those prescriptions AT ALL....neither can they prescribe any anti anxiety medications AT ALL even if it is used for blood pressure. Not only is it expensive to go there, the ONLY Dr is Dr Rush and you won't see him certainly not on an on going basis. The others are Nurse Practitioners AT MOST. I don't think There is but one actual Nurse but they let Nursing students come in for education sometimes. Ive got to find another Dr.
