My daughter who is disabled had an appointment here. Worst decision ever! She was seen by Elfin W. Fenton, O.D. and he's very rude. While telling me about different things, such as an eye exam for my daughter, he said "it's ONLY $23" or however much it was. He said that about the new type of eye exam. Everything was ONLY (x) amount of dollars. Then he was acting frustrated when I said no thank you. Also, there were like 10 people that work there just standing chit chatting instead of seeing if we needed assistance. I wouldn't refer this place to anyone. Wasted my daughters annual exam.

I am 66 years old and have had poor eyesight most of my life. I can't read the big E on the eye chart, and I have double vision in my left eye. I wore special contacts for the past two years, so I had good distance vision but couldn't read anything up close without putting on cheaters to read. I was frustrated with having to constantly wear cheaters throughout the day, so when Dr. McColley told me that they were going to be testing contact lenses that allowed the reading component to be increased to 4.00 instead of the maximum of 1.75 that my current lenses allowed, I jumped at the chance to try them. Dr. McColley was extremely patient as he worked me through the process of finding the right combination for my distance and reading settings. However, the increase in the reading setting caused me to lose clarity on my distance eyesight, and I could no longer see clear enough to drive at night. Dr. McColley kept working with the settings, and I am happy to report that I can now read up close and still see clearly at a distance! I can never thank Dr. McColley enough for having the patience and thoroughness to work through my vision frustrations to find a solution for my total vision. I highly recommend Dr. McColley and Texarkana Eye Associates for all your vision needs. Thank you, Dr. McColley!

Went back today for a follow up, had a nice optometrist (not him) but I am NEVER coming back here again.

I'm certain that after my complaint Mr. McColley is more respectful and careful with how he treats his clients but it's a shame that it had to take my complaint for that to happen. I don't have any problem with the other optometrists or staff of TEA but they're getting this crappy review because of one optometrist who decided to be smart with a client a month ago. All future clients of his can thank me for him being more respectful due to my complaint. You're welcome.

What a wonderful group at Texarkana Eye Associates. Dr. Nicholas McColley is an exceptional Optometrist who has taken such amazing care of me. I am so grateful for Texarkana Eye Associates and Dr. Nicholas McColley.

My husband had a stroke in his right eye several months ago . Dr McColley and his staff were wonderful . They were very helpful in the process. Highly recommend Texarkana eye associates for any eye needs

I was here a month ago because of a condition I have that was affecting my vision. My vision wasn't blurry but it wasn't clear. The best I could describe it was as if there was a smudge on the lens of my glasses. The optometrist I had that day was Nick McColley. Although polite, his tone was condescending towards me and it was clear I wasn't being taken seriously. Then before he finally was able to see my condition in my eyes after all these tests that couldn't find it, he preceded to mock me by taking my glasses and cleaning them and then asking me if I could still see the smudge. Wow. I wrote a complaint that day about what happened and he responded with a long email that was pretty much him defending himself. He claims that he had to clean my glasses because he was doing his "due diligence" and saw a "minuscule scratch" in the center of my lens. If you are reading this and have glasses on, rub the lens of your glasses between your fingers. Now tell me, how is a smudge the same thing as a "minuscule scratch"?
