This place is usually packed. It sells tools, most of which are not the best quality, but they do get the job done and are fairly priced.
Checkout here can be rather tedious when customers are lined up at registers, and even when they aren't lined up, the checkout process always seems to take longer than it ought to.
I love shopping at Harbor Freight Tools! No more than I use the tools I purchase from anywhere, the ones from Harbor Freight will last me years. I'm not hard on tools and take care of the ones I have, so I sacrifice a little quality for lower cost. The store is very neat and the workers are helpful when locating a tool. The only complaint I have is checking out. If someone ahead of you wants to sign up for an account, it takes forever!! I've waited in line with 2 people ahead of me for 30 minutes before and they rarely have more than one register open.
Sometimes things shown in catalogs sent by mail and things shown online at the store's website can be hard to find in the store, but just ask associates if you should need help finding something. While they don't often walk customers to the items for which they're searching, they will usually direct them to numbered aisles where these products can be found.

Great amount of selection to choose from, and prices are very reasonable for the quality of tools you get. Many sales all the time, make sure to check their website or catalogs before buying.
Sometimes items are not stocked on the shelves which may be held in the stock room. Having your item number handy is helpful in these instances, however. Just go to an associate or make your way to the back of the store's right side where an open door to the stock room will usually prove helpful. Stick your neck through the door and holler for anyone who can locate back stock items...
