Hosted a salon manager's meeting in the board room and the experience was grand. The sales director Kimberly was amazing. She is so professional and her hospitality was superb. The front desk hostesses, Stephanie, and the manager were both so nice and inviting. I definitely chose the right facility for the meeting.
The Holiday Inn in Texarkana, AR. was a well welcomed surprise. The lobby is huge and inviting. As you enter, their restaurant and lounge are just off to the right. They offer great meals and a full bar complete with a happy hour. To the left, they offer a bunch of snacks, desserts and traveling essentials. The first floor also offers a bunch of extras including a beautiful indoor pool and workout room. The workout room does not offer a lot, but has enough options to keep you busy.
Had a great stay. Friendly staff and great location as we were passing through.
The rooms are great sized and very well furnished. The beds are wide a comfortable. The room has all the basics - refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The room also offers plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathroom are clean & spacious, offers all the basic necessities and plenty of space for all your toiletries.
We at Ignite Hospitality Services would like to thank you for being so friendly to our clients Jake Daniels and Bob O'Reilly while staying here while performing in the area! The rooms were perfect, clean, and quiet, and the staff was super accommodating (especially with the late check-in.) There was also a 24hr shop on-site to get snacks and drinks after the gig!
I work on the road alot and as of today I have stayed in a hotel a total of 157 nights this year. As far as the hotel it is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I conduct rules class and hiring classes periodically around the country and this USED to be one of my favorite hotels to do this in. Recently they staff has went through a MAJOR turnover and with this last experience me and my team had here with renting out the board room... I am now regretting moving my classes here a little over a year ago. I believe we will be in the market for a new training area. All my past experiences, before the major turnover, was always above expectations and the appreciation of our business was noticeable. NOW... well let's put it this way, they didn't even now we were there, even though we made all our reservations 2 weeks in advance. The presentation system didn't work. Luckily I brought my own. Our meeting started at 7am with a full beverage station requested. When I mentioned to the front desk, at 7:30 that nothing was in there, they said "well I'm sorry about that but you'll have to wait until the lady that takes care of that comes in at 8 or 8:30, I don't take care of that stuff". Finally at 8:20 they started setting that up. The following day when we started, the room had not been cleaned, the old beverages where still there, & the trash was still full. Finally when I REQUESTED again that someone do their job, day 2's beverage station was setup around 9:30. Later I realized the trash was still full and just ended up taking the trash out myself so we could throw items away as needed. This place is spiralling down hill at an unbelievable rate in there convention center department!
