The food is always good. However the help is sub par. Restaurant is filthy and if it is at all possible the bathrooms are worse.
Sheyenne was a wonderful waitress and loved kidding around with us! We had our "usual" meals, the food is always good. We dont always have such a good wait person.
I had sampler platter and the food was very good. Service was very slow. I was told management understaffed and wasn't expecting to be this busy. Not smart seeing as it was a Saturday night and a weekend leading up to Christmas. Normally lots of people out shopping on those weekends. Management not very sharp I'd say.
Normally it's good this time I went took almost an hour to get our food and the order wasn't complete , waiter didn't check on us at all! From the time he brought our drinks it took another waitress to refill our drinks and that took 30 minutes to happen! How ever i would give them a chance next time I go maybe it'll be better but for now it's only 2 stars.
Excellent Tex Mex from a Chain - this is standard On The Border fare that I am very used to getting "at home" when I am in Dallas. However, I had been on vacation throughout small towns in Arkansas for 2 weeks and had not had any good Tex Mex (which to me is daily comfort food). Once I crossed back into Texas and saw this OTB (On The Border) in Texarkana I shrieked with joy! Thankfully, not only was it perfectly everything I hoped to expect - all the same food I can get at home, prepared the same, served by friendly staff in a clean environment, but they also had hometown pride and flair that they added to it. I'm glad I stopped in and will make it a tradition to stop back by as soon as I hit that Texas border coming home every time. Thanks OTB, I appreciate you, at home, and on the road!
