I grew up at this park, before they replaced it, and I must say, I'd gladly bring my son here. It's easily accessible, and a nice little quiet park. The only thing I don't like is the 5 foot deep trench of a ditch running next to it, along with being so close to Texas Boulevard. As long as you watch your kids, this is a great park
The location isn't the best as homeless people from shelter are right next door. However it is the best playground in texarkana in my opinion and the skate park is awesome if you skateboard
