This place is awesome. We had no place to go for Hurricane Irma and they opened up to evacuees. They are usually closed to the public but they made an exception for the evacuees of Florida. They have a big heart! The park is near the Styx River and has beautiful trails that you can walk on right by the River. It was like being in a scene from Nightmare Before Christmas. The trees were so cool. Terry, Maria, and Randy were very nice and very helpful. They have everything: pool, indoor and outdoor, clubhouse, shooting range right down the street. We highly recommend you check them out!!!
This resort is the bomb! We have a great time everytime we're there! Can't say enough about how wonderful Marie and Kim has been. All of the staff does a great job with decorations and activities. All of staff is loving and caring. The park appearance is always clean. It's so relaxing and yet there is so much to do. We enjoy this place alot. The only thing that I would like to see change is the mattresses in the cabin they are so uncomfortable. I brag about this park to everyone we meet. Keep up the great job!
Being a part of Ocean Canyon has been a great experience! I love coming to Tres Rios RV Resort, Ocean Canyon's North Texas location (One of their premiere facilities in my opinion.) The mature oak trees along the river create a beautiful setting! Many of the spots are shaded and my dog loves that! I especially appreciate the staff at Ocean Canyon Parks; They always go above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. They have free donuts every Friday, daily bike rides. My kids LOVE when we go to an Ocean Canyon park! Lots of friends and fun activities! I would recommend a stay at this park to anyone! This strand of RV resorts really puts the emphasis on family and friends with a lot of different activities. Adults and kid's alike will enjoy the beautiful scenery, adult and kid crafts, card games, dominoes, swimming, hikes, bird watching, fishing, potlucks, Church service! I especially enjoy the "date nights" they put on! Every Thursday, us park "regulars" get together for a date night at a local restaurant! I have made many new friends from my stays with Ocean Canyon and can't wait to make more!
We have been a member of Ocean Canyon Properties for over a year. Our home campground is Mountain Lakes. We have been RVing for over 30 years. The properties we have visited have all been very pristine for the most part. Activities are plentiful for all ages both mature and the young. Our grandchildren love to visit when we are here. Security is always present and the management has been nothing but helpful, courteous and professional. If you are looking for a friendly and active resort I highly recommend any of the Ocean Canyon Properties
We camped at OCP Abita Springs in Nov., 2017. They have new activity staff. So far we have attended a cookie swap gathering, bingo, Veterans Day Celebration and adult craft activity. Clint and Jackie were WONDERFUL. They were kind, friendly, fun, informational, and generous as they made us feel at home. We will be here for Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing what they plan next. We love staying here.
