This is such a nice place for the price. The bed was so comfy The room was clean and warm... did I mention the bed was comfy. It is aaahhhhh quiet! Family owned and operated which i love. The owners are pleasant and the wife is so sweet. My mom had lost her credit card. They found it and saved it for her. I would recommend staying here.
Refused military discount after telling us we couldn't get the military discount if we used corporate reserves... when paid out of pocket, still refused military discount. DON'T SUPPORT FOLKS THAT DON'T SUPPORT OUR MILITARY.
15 minutes after my original review and The owner just barged into our room- workout knocking, stating we had 5 minutes to leave or pay for another night. Absolutely Rude. Absolutely Filthy.
The owners of this place should find a different business to try to operate. They don't belong in this type of service industry! If you need sand paper, you have come to the right place, the towels that provided are just like a 5 grit sand paper. If you need meds you can probably get them from alot of people staying there doing drug deals. If you stay over the weekend, your room will not be serviced. Stay longer than 2 days your carpet floor will not be vacuumed and forget about the bathroom being cleaned either.
checked in for one night the other day, as soon as i walked in i looked around the room for bugs and while checking the sheets i found dirt, hair and stains all on the sheets an pillow cases. Also found 2 bedbugs, one on the ceiling one on the curtain. went to the desk and asked for a refund, she suggested moving me to a "suite" which the only difference is the tv is a 50 inch and there were no bedbugs in this one.
One of the most underrated hotels in Texarkana. I stayed here for a night and I wish I could have stayed here for ever. They have a bunch of choices for breakfast from danishes to donuts to bagels etc and the room was the best part. It is the cleanest room I have ever seen. I have stayed in the whyndgarden up until now but I found this place. They have rooms for half the price but double the quality. The room I was in had a 50in flat screen and the most comfortable mattresses. This is a 10/10 place and I would recommend it to any one traveling near or around Texarkana.
