Reserved double queen bed room online through Marriott website for Thanksgiving holiday travel. Arrived and was told that hotel was overbooked and I would have to go to a sister property that only had single king bed. Very inconvenient to have to go to a different hotel late at night with small children and did not get the room or amenities that we had paid for. Was told several times that the reason I didn't get a room was because I booked through Expedia which is not true and still waiting for credit card charges to go through to ensure that I was not charged for both rooms and only charged for the lower rate room that actually stayed in.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom, two KING beds. Very comfortable beds, bathroom a little small for a room designed for 6 people. Good sized living area. Could not be better located. Right of the highway yet we did not hear traffic and our room faced the highway. Breakfast was great; real poached eggs, Canadian bacon, sausage Gravy and biscuits, waffles, etc. and good coffee. Felt sorry we were just passing through. Definitely would stay here again.
Good rates, amazing customer service, very clean. Would have given 5 but management seems to believe cutting quality is a good thing. Worse coffee I've ever had. In room and in lobby. Even doubled filter pack in room. Pure nasty. Bacon had flavor of paper. Cooked great, no flavor. All else was beyond amazing!! Place for motorcycle parking, and again customer service/staff members beat awesomeness. Will continue being a faithful customer but request management taste products they are serving to guests.
Rooms are clean, staff is always friendly, and parking is plentiful. The location is great. Near good breakfast spots and a bookstore. Especially great if you have a dog.
While I'm writing this with you I am actually still staying at this place it is a terrible facility it appears to be on the outside a very nice place but when I tell you that there is no consideration for humans and more for animals you may understand what I'm talking about, When me and my wife 1st came to this hotel it seemed OK but when I entered my Room and slept for one night I noticed that animal hair was everywhere they have no consideration as to where they put people with pits so therefore every Room may have been just like mine It smelled of animals also and the thing is I have nothing against animals I love dogs but I don't want to sleep with my dog or anyone else is dog that I don't know the man and attempt to remove the hair but once it's ingrained in the cyber of the carpet there's really nothing you can do I noticed this in the hallway too. Let me also go as far as to say that the personality of the staff was very poor not many smiles and the evening young lady didn't know anything about the WiFi.
