Service was excellent as was the food. Stopped here traveling through Texarkana and place was close to the hotel. Staff was very outgoing and friendly with a great selection of food. Full service bar and great service made for an enjoyable evening after a long day on the road.
Ok food. Probably one of the worse servers we have ever had. She took our order then just placed our food and never asked if everything was ok, checked to see if we needed anything else, we had to ask another server for salt & pepper and a steak knife, and when she finally came to take our plates she looked in the other direction and asked very faintly if we wanted anything else...I shook my head "no" but she couldn't see it. We sat and waited and she finally came back and just left our bill without a word. Needless to say we were not impressed. On a good note, the creamed spinach was very good as were the rolls. The other servers were attentive to their tables.
Great pricing, great food, great service
We live in Texarkana, TX. Ate there for the first time Oct 28, 2017. The restaurant was built as Copeland's of New Orleans, an up-scale Cajun restaurant chain, so the interior and exterior are very nice. After they closed it opened as Cafe 511. I had the pork chops and my wife had the soup/salad. Both orders were very good. Our waitress was Latosha and she was extremely warm and friendly. Highly recommend asking for her when you visit. Overall our experience was excellent. We will definitely eat there again.
Stopped in Texarkana for work and decided to try this wonderful looking place. Great atmosphere. Live person playing piano and the food was banging. Highly recommend the roast beef poboy. The best part was that it was fairly cheap!
