Reliable comfort food. But this experience in Texarkana is SPECIAL. The service by Ms. Jolly is the reason we stop here on every trip between Hot Springs and Dallas. She is wonderful. She is attentive, welcoming, and fun. Eat here and request Ms. Jolly
Best Cracker Barrel I have ever experienced. Update Nov 2017, food still great if you can get it, service time has really suffered, very, very slow. Took about 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us after we were seated.
This review is based on around seven or eight visits to this restaurant in the past six months. First, evenings are wonderful. Food is great, staff is excellent. Mornings are totally different story. Be prepared to wait, a long time, to even get served drinks. Be prepared to send food back because it was not made to order and be prepared to wait a long time for that food. This happens whether they are busy or not. This has been my experience the last three times I have visited this restaurant for breakfast.
Great food, great spirit, great people. This place never slows down! Always popular with locals and out of towners.
Abosolutly the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever had the misfortune to visit.
Service is horrible unless you like your over medium eggs extra runny then I guess it would be ok, if you like the fact that 3 other tables recieved their food before you did even though you ordered 15 minutes before they did then I guess the service would be ok. I have given the CRACKED BARREL in Texarkana 4 chances in the last year to get it right and no success yet and today is the absolute last chance. I would rather eat breakfast from a convinience store than have to go back to this location. I wish google gave the option for negative stars because they would be -5 stars.
