I went there to get answers for why i was in so much pain, so tired, and why i was not sleeping. after more than 6 months, i still dont have any answers! i am still in pain and the pain is getting worse, i still do not have any energy and i still can not sleep. I did a urine test to get pain meds. after two months of waiting for some one to call, i go up there. only to find out they have no record of me ever doing the test, but i get a bill from the company that did the test. i am suppose to have a CPAP which i do not have! i call and call and leave message after message but no one ever calls me back. just because i dont have ins dont mean i dont need medical care or have heath issues! I will not ever go back to AHEC! i would rather die first! Thank you for taking my money but not helping me!
My family loves the staff at AHEC downtown. The staff is loving, caring professionals.
They will take your money or collect a check but do absolutely nothing about your condition. Total waste of time, money, govt money, and energy. I pay only $25 more at another's doctor's office now and he never fails to actually diagnose immediately if he can, and treat! Yes, he treats your conditions! AHEC just treats you like your'e full of BS and tells you to go home...yet they still get your money. Bad practice to say the least! I'd be dead right now had I not left them in the dust where they belong.
